Getting started
Create your account and workspace, then send your first event.
Create an account
Open the dashboard and sign up with your email and a password, or ask for a magic link (it works once and expires after 5 minutes). Verify your email address from the message EmitKit sends: invitations to other Organizations can only be accepted from a verified address.
Create your Organization and Project
Enter an Organization name, a Project name and, optionally, the Project’s website. EmitKit creates both, plus a starter API key bound to that Project. Channels are created by the first event that names them.
Send the first event
Copy the starter key and run the curl command on the screen, or follow the TypeScript SDK guide. The key is shown only on this screen, so store it in a secret manager. The page checks every 5 seconds and shows Signal received. when your first event arrives.
Open the dashboard
Continue when you’re ready: EmitKit doesn’t redirect while you’re still reading or copying. To get events as push notifications, turn them on in Settings → Notifications.
